Todd Kurosawa bio

Born and raised in Hawaii, and growing up with comics and MAD Magazine, Todd always aspired to be a cartoonist. After contributing cartoon illustrations and gags to Pidgin to Da Max, one of Hawaii's best selling book series, he packed his portfolio and set his sights in the Los Angeles animation industry. He was quickly recruited to join Marvel Productions' as an apprentice storyboard artist on the Dungeons & Dragons animated series.
 
He has now been storyboarding professionally for over 38 years, collaborating with top talent at DreamWorks Animation, Walt Disney Feature and Television Animation, Sony Pictures Animation, Paramount, Nickelodeon, and Warner Bros. Animation.
 
His work spans a range of styles and genres -- in productions such as Jim Henson's Muppet  Babies, Tazmania, Pocahontas, Fantasia 2000, The Prince of Egypt, Shrek, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Shark Tale, How to Train Your Dragon 1 and 2, Penguins of Madagascar, Trollhunters, Captain Underpants, Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure, The Boss Baby: Family Business, Spirit Untamed, and Monsters at Work.
